Metallica – MTV’s Monsters of Rock Weekend Feature | 1988 | 1080p

Back in 1988, MTV used to make a big deal out of music festivals (and music in general) and they’d usually do little features on various shows. This is the Metallica portion of the feature they did on the 1988 “Van Halen’s Monsters of Rock” tour in 1988. I had previously digitized and uploaded this back in 2020, but I’ve since redigitized it and upscaled it to 1080p, 60fps. It looks pretty damn good for a VHS tape that’s nearly 35 years old (in 2022).
